There are no skills that mitigate slashing damage. Piercing damage / arrows are both effected by Shields Up, arrows more so, but it still gives +50 armor vs assassins with piercing weapons.

Which lasts for like 5 seconds...whereas there is actually armor that directly gives +armor vs. piercing. Bladeturn Refrain is also a highly uncommon skill to see in both PvP and PvE (if it's in PvE, swap daggers...you'll be fighting it a while). It isn't common in PvP just because the duration makes it a piece of crap (I have not seen a single paragon run Bladeturn Refrain outside of RA... and that was a single time).

I believe Darkroots are lower req...Shiro's are annoying because sometimes your build doesn't allow you to exceed 12 points in any given attribute.

Actually it lasts for about 10 minutes, it's an echo. And you see it quite often in HA, especially with holding builds that employ 2 Paragons. One packs Mending Refrain, the other Bladeturn.

Everthorn's chakrams are the best greens imo.
Slashing because: Shields up! is a counter, sometimes people will take vs piercing armour because of all the daggers/arrows/axes/spears.
It's not necessary, but it can give you an advantage....

I use Xuekao's daggers, why? Because I always remain enchanted under Shadow Refuge or Way of Perfection. Well I recommend them for my build and not for anything else.

Are these slashing dmg? If they are, I might get me a pair.
I like shiro's, except for the 15 req, even 13 would have been better, but I usually use my set of Dragon Scythes I got in the Kurzick forests from a chest.
